Overview
Small businesses are of great importance to economic growth and job creation, with over 99.8 % of the state’s business being small to medium sized and employing around 7 million Australians (70 % of total employment).
This project involves connecting the investor and business through an online platform that gives small business access to capital and global markets, enabling them to enter new markets, diversify or innovate.
This project will explore and evaluate:
• models that will enable business to access capital through alternative methods
• Government’s role in facilitating access to this process
• creating a sustainable source of capital for business in South Australia.
