I would like to nominate Lincoln Computer Centre ( LCC) particularly in the area of customer service.
At any time this small firm provides excellent support and service, but with the advent of the NBN, and the many problems and difficulties this has incurred, the company and the proprietor, Greg Williams, have gone way beyond the normal support and service for people on Eyre Peninsula, including those who are not even customers, but are struggling with the new technology.
Greg has set up a facebook page for NBN users on Eyre Pen., which is meeting a huge need, and helping many people understand the NBN and their own requirements.
He spends hours sorting out communication difficulties between providers, installers and customers.
Finally Greg will actually go to the trouble of going online to find you the best and most economical product you are seeking, and happily direct you to another local retailer, if he cannot match their offer.
He and his staff are not just highly knowledgeable in the field, but are honest, open and friendly in their dealings with people.
This is genuine, but also, I suspect, the firm’s way of competing with the cheap prices available on line. The guarantee of competent and reliable service, with a smile, is one of the few ways a small local firm can compete; and the success and longevity of this business is a testament to the success of this way of doing business.
Hi Paul – thanks for your nomination of Greg Williams and Lincoln Computer Centre. We will get in touch with Greg to get additional information to support the nomination. Appreciate your overview. Cheers, Andrea
