The Eyre Peninsula scooped 10 awards at the 2012 South Australian Tourism Award announced on Friday 23rd November with 9 Eyre Peninsula operators recognised amongst the states best. Local tourism operator Adventure Bay Charters won three categories including Major Tourist Attraction, New Tourism Development for their Ultimate Ocean Safari and was inducted into the Hall of Fame when they won the best award for Best Adventure Tourism.
