DESCRIPTION:About this event:\n\n\n\n\n\nWorkplaces should be safe places for everyone – free of sexual harassment. Change is needed in all industries\, and in every workplace. With the right knowledge and tools\, businesses can play a leading role in preventing workplace sexual harassment\, discrimination and bullying. \n  \nThe Port Lincoln Chamber is partnering with the Working Women’s Centre SA to deliver a workshop on preventing and tackling sexual harassment. Respect the Line is a workshop designed to help local businesses understand their legal and ethical obligations\, and build skills to create safe and inclusive workplaces. \n  \nWhat the workshop will cover: \n\nDefining workplace sexual harassment and its impacts\, with clear examples\nUnderstanding legal obligations\, including the Positive Duty to prevent harassment\nUnderstanding the structural and cultural causes of sexual harassment\nPractical strategies for bystanders\nWhat to do if you experience harassment or receive a disclosure \n  \n*Afternoon tea will be provided – limited to 25 spots availability!
